Young entrepreneur making money online

My name is Nick Smith and I am a young entrepreneur based in London, UK. I first got a taste for entrepreneurship when I edited and sold my school’s yearbook at the age of 17, and have never looked back. I went to study Accounting and Finance at the London School of Economics, but after setting up an ethical furnishings business, I realised that a career in finance was not for me. Since dropping out, I have become what can best be described as an entrepreneurial consultant. Within months of dropping out of university I had helped to set up several businesses that had been funded on hit TV show the Dragon’s Den, thanks to a lucky break that had me working for Peter Jones, the well known entrepreneur. I then got involved with several dot-coms which I am developing and marketing, and which I will no doubt be plugging mercilessly on this blog. Currently I am working on myholidaylet.com, amuso.com and several of my own online projects, one of which is this blog.

I truly believe that anybody can do anything they put their mind to, and I have been lucky enough to meet some extremely inspiring people during my life who have installed this in me. I hope that this blog can inspire others to do what they want to do and not what they think they should do (in a career sense of course!), so that more people can realise their full potential in life.

If you are thinking of starting your own business, or would like any specific advice, do not hesitate to contact me and I will do my best to give my thoughts on your idea.

And remember, you may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you do not try.
