Another widget making site: pimp your blog

Written by Nick in Tuesday, April 1st 2008 under Blogging, Online marketing

Following on from my recent ‘make your own Facebook appliction to publicise your blog‘ post, here is another widget building application for all you money making bloggers out there. Sprout is a new service that lets you quickly and easily create a custom widget that can include anything from a simple RSS feed to a full on bells and whistles promotion for your blog, which is hosted on the Sprout servers. You are given the option to build a widget from a selection of pre-built templates, or you can build one from the ground up using your own graphics, mp3 files or videos.

There are a lot of cool features to play around with, including more extensive viral features and a modular interface to round off a really slick drag and drop system. If you’re looking for a new toy for your blog this could be it!

Here’s one I made earlier, what do you think?!
